ED applicants – how long does it take to get an interview offer?

Hi everyone! I was wondering approximately how long it would usually take after you submit your application to get an offer for an interview (from a relatively densely populated area in terms of alumni – I live in a suburb of NYC). Or just how long it took for you, no matter where you're from.

Still haven't received an interview and I submitted mine two weeks ago, but don't worry they aren't necessary for admission.

brother got one two days after submitting application - i think it's mainly based off of your location though, since there's no way they read his app in time

Columbia's alumni interview process does not guarantee interviews for all applicants. It's a volunteer system where alums log in and accept a certain no. of interviews. I believe Columbia interviews roughly 25% of all applicants. ED applicants may fare better however. Good luck
