Less than 24 hours until results are out, everyone! 7:00 PM EST on December 12th is QUICKLY approaching us. Reminder to not post on here unless it’s a real decision.

Regardless of whether you get rejected, deferred, or accepted, this decision does not define you as a person (though, congrats to you if you do get accepted!). We are all worthy and have worked hard for this moment! Good luck everyone! <3

Just remove the "a" in the bold, size, and color of your decision. :)

    Decision: Deferred

    Objective:
    SAT I (breakdown): 1500 (750 for both)
    ACT (breakdown): 33 (31 for M/S, 35 and 36 for English)
Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.97
    Weighted GPA: 4.23
Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): 1st
    AP (place score in parenthesis):
    Chinese (3)
    APUSH (3)
    Calc BC (4)

    Senior Year Course Load:

    Nothing else worth mentioning

    Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis):
    Speech and Debate (Captain)
    Poetry (looking to publish)
    Feeding the Homeless
    other random stuff.

    Recommendations (rating 1-10, details):
Teacher Rec #1: 10, science/math teacher who really wants me to succeed and told me she gave me a phenomenal rec.
Teacher Rec #2: 8.5, Lit. teacher who I grew really close too; previous college professor
Counselor Rec: 8, didn't know her that well, but I think she gives out good recs to all the students

    Other:
Applied for Financial Aid?: was Trump impeached?
Intended Major: undecided, maybe comparative Lit.
    Ethnicity: mixed
    Gender: male
    Income Bracket: less than 65
Hooks: quest bridge finalist, refugee (kind of?)

Strengths: eloquent writer, essays were good
    Weaknesses: AP scores
Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: interesting childhood, intriguing common app topic (living under an oppressive dictator)

General Comments: not really sure why I'm posting this, but it's weirdly calming for the nerves? makes me feel like I can get in RD lol. we'll see.
