Do I put this research in my 'Activities' section?

I was a part of a class for the new AP Capstone course facilitated by College Board. It was a two-year course revolving around research and it culminated in a thesis paper and presentation. I completed my own research with an instrument, subjects, etc. Even though it was a class, the vast majority of the class was expected to be completed outside of class. It is listed on my transcript and I did receive an AP credit, but it wasn't really a class so much so as a setting to get peer feedback.
I'm unsure where or not to put this EC(?), in my activities section under "Research". It was identical to any sort of research I would conduct at a university, except there was a HS course attached. Any help would be appreciated!
