Am I right for doing this? Question about applying for MtSac

A lot of people applied for Summer of 2014, I apply for Fall of 2014, of course I did not submit the application yet because I am in the process of double checking it over again. Is it bad to apply for Fall of 2014? Which is August for the first day of school? Or should I just apply straight to June?

The reason why I apply further away from Summer is because I have a summer job and right after graduation I have to go back to my homeland in China. Though I can cancel that trip if I am required to, but Is it bad? To apply for Fall? Will it put me behind? Do I lose anything for applying late?

Im a Highschool Senior with a 2.7Gpa once I graduate and I am not sure about my major yet. I chose Psychology but I also love Computer Science/Programming and Criminal Science.
