Does it matter where you get your CS degree?
So i'm a senior in high school right now and i'm currently interested in computer science. I have always loved computer and just technology in general and have enjoyed dabbling into coding here and there when I have the time. However completing college with few or no loans is very important to me.. I have a job right now that will help me pay for school while only working part time during school and full time in the summer. This job is also giving me IT experience and I could even potentially give me some basic programming experience. The school I would like to go to is a community college that has an accredited cs program which from my research seems to be one of the biggest factors for a program. Outside of maybe a highly recognized school that isn't accredited. However I would like to move out of state after I graduate given a good enough opportunity. So my question is will getting a cs degree from a decent accredited cc be sufficient enough to make me competitive in today's IT fields?
