Alum interview problem

I think I meet a weird alumni interviewer.
He sent an email to me on monday saying that I needed to call him to schedule a interview,so I called him on Tuesday and he told me that he was busying and he would call me later. However,he never called me. I waited until Friday and sent a text message to him.He said we would have a video chat on sunday. Then I asked what would be the exact time and he never answered me.It is sunday morning here. I'm very anxious because I felt like the interview will happen at any time. Is it appropriate to send a text message and asked the time. I think it may seem annoying since I already sent him one.

I mean, to be honest, there's not much that a group of strangers on College Confidential can do for you.

My best advice would be to text/email/call him again and ask what time he'd like the video chat to be. Don't worry about annoying him -- if he reached out to you to begin with, then it's a pretty safe bet that he's willing to take out the time to interview you. Beyond that, it's really up to him. Good luck.

Yeah, it sounds like you have to cancel all your Sunday plans to be available at the drop of a hat -- or to be okay that it isn't going to happen. If it doesn't it won't be your fault. Good luck and let us know!

If he didn't give you an exact time then it was not confirmed. Most interviewers would give you a firm time few days prior. I wouldn't have waited around for him. to be honest, Cornell's alumni interview is really not that important.

Thank you guys. I really appreciate your help.
At last I decided to send another message to him this afternoon. However, just when I was typing he called me and scheduled an interview an hour later.
We spoke english during the interview and to my surprise, my interviewer was not fluent in it and he was more nervous than me, which was quite awkward.

Just goes to show that interviewers (and alums in general) are just people too!
