@whenderson272 I think that you can still turn it in, because my list wasn't generated until a week after the deadline. But to make sure, you can email the financial aid office and ask them.

I was accepted! Does anyone know when they send out the official acceptance letters in the mail?

Congrats to everyone who got accepted, and to those who didn't, don't let this one college get you down.

    ACT (breakdown): Didn't take
    SAT II: Math 2 - 730 Physics - 690
Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.69
Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): N/A

Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis): Marching Band
    Job/Work Experience: Giant Cashier
Volunteer/Community service: Didn't really do any
    Summer Activities: Work
Essays (rating 1-10, details): 7.5/10 I'm not the best writer but I really put my strongest foot forward here
    Recommendations (rating 1-10, details):

Teacher Rec #1: I think my science teacher liked me. Might have been a little generic
Teacher Rec #2: My band teacher defiantly loved me.
Counselor Rec: She didn't even know who I was
    Additional Rec: N/A
    Interview: N/A

    Applied for Financial Aid?: Yes
Intended Major and College: College of Engineering
    State (if domestic applicant): Georgia
    School Type: Not competitive
    Ethnicity: Black
    Gender: Female
    Income Bracket: ~40,000

Reflection: I'm really happy I got in. I didn't think I would get in at all. My stats weren't very competitive but I think my personal essay shined through. For everyone else, better luck next time! Don't let one college get you down :)

    Strengths: Personal essay
    Weaknesses: Scores and GPA
Why you think you were accepted/deferred/rejected: A little part of me thinks it's because of my background but I think it was mainly due to my stellar personal essay.
Where else were you accepted/deferred/rejected: Nothing else has come out yet. [EDIT] Princeton accept me too!
