Design and Enviornmental Analysis is NOT industrial design

I entered cornell wanting to do industrial design and thought Design and Environmental Analysis would lead me down that path. Don’t listen to the website that makes it seems like you can do any design career. It is all INTERIOR DESIGN focused, barely anything else. The freshman studio teaches through an interior design lens. The materials class includes things like wall coverings and acoustic ceiling tiles. Even the career fair Pursuit only invites architectural and interior design firms. If this does not sound like your jam DONT CHOOSE DEA.
