Music newbie question

Arturo071Arturo071 13 replies5 threads Junior Member
hi, I recently started playing my guitar after stopping for a while.

I began 10 months ago, I got hooked into playing guitar and learning how it worked. I know my basics on theory: major scale, minor scale, CAGED system, penta, blues scale, etc. Although I'm still learning to master them when it comes to playing.

My big concern is that I'm 17 1/2 years old, and I just "started" my journey. I'm trying to get either into FIU or Florida Atlantic University, and just for fun, I decided to singe myself up to Berklee college of music (I know I won't get accepted). I'm also planning on taking finance as a minor, I think that it would be helpful for my life.

Lastly, I'm not sure what I want to do yet, but I'm considering on becoming a solo artist or lead guitarist for a blues band. The big thing I'm really worried about is the audition, and what major of music to take.

GPA:
Weighted: 4.0
Unweighted: 3.1

Sat: n/a (taking it on sep)

I would be thankful for any help
