Questions about the College of Human Ecology

Hi everyone,

Cornell’s College of Human Ecology has always deeply interested me, especially their fashion management major as it seems to nicely melt both subjects as well as keep a rigorous ivy curriculum. However, as I’ve been doing more research into the school, I struggle to find any information from the students and what they think about the school. Since I am considering possibly applying for early decision, I have a couple questions before I make up my mind:

1) What are the pros & cons of being part of the college of human ecology?

2) As it is one of the smaller schools, do you feel separated from the rest of the school and other students?

3) If there is any fashion major students out there, do you feel as though it’s preparing you well to later be part of the fashion industry? Does your schedule allow for taking classes outside of the school?
