Questions about the College Of Human Ecology

Hi everyone,

Cornell’s College of Human Ecology has always interested me, especially the fashion management major as it seems to nicely blend fashion and business while maintaining a somewhat rigorous curriculum. However, as I’ve been doing more research on CHE, I struggle to find information from the students and what they think about the school. Since I am considering to possibly apply early decision, I have a couple questions before I apply:

1) What are the pros & cons of being part of CHE?

2) As it is one of the smaller schools, is there moments where you feel separated from the other schools and/or other students?

3) If there is any fashion design management students here, do you feel like the program is preparing you to be part of the fashion industry? In addition, does your schedule allow for taking classes outside of CHE?

Hopefully this isn’t too much and I would love to see what you all have to say. Thank you!!
