Housing Form

OK so when I fill out my housing form they ask about backround noise and social/studious nature of the room. Is this so they can prioritize singles/doubles? I requested a single so I can retreat somewhere on my own but I don't want to be sent to a non-social dorm? Is this what they are talking about (dorm selections) based on each halls general social status? Or is the only reason if one were to get a double.

i think thats only if you get put in a double. I feel it should only affect you if they can't accomidate you in a single.
