I'm just going to be straightforward about it, haha - is it as cold all the time as it's made out to be? Will I need to stock up on winter coats and whatnot? How's the weather up there in general?

    It is cold , but you'll deal.

    Have you ever been to NY?
    It has every season, so does Cornell.
    Winter is cold & summer is warm
    That's the way the world is.
