Has anyone ever taken a winter session at a cuny school?

I'm thinking of taking 2 winter session classes this winter due to the fact that I'm slightly behind on credits. its either i take 7 credits during winter 2017 or I take 17 credits during each semester of my senior year while doing an internship. Do you guys think 2 winter classes are doable? Also i do work part time but the hours are flexible to my needs.

It depends on which CUNY college you plan on taking Winter classes and the length of the winter program.

Some CUNY colleges have only 3 weeks winter classes that runs Mondays to Thursday which can be tough if you have other obligations.

However, other colleges have 6 weeks winter classes which was much doable for those who are working full time.

6 weeks Winter classes are usually offered at CUNY Community College.

I guessing you are a current CUNY student, if so you can file for an e-permit and take the classes at a CUNY CC. It might be less stressful doing this.

Speak to your advisor to ensure that the credits will apply to your degree.
