I don't know why a thread wasn't made already but here it is! I know decisions come out "early June" but I have no idea what that means. Last year it came out June 1st, but the year before it was the 6th or the 7th so nobody can really tell. I know they originally had a due date of May 1st but extended it to the 7th, so maybe that'll have some impact on a delay, idk! Good luck to everyone that applied!!

Also if anyone knows the acceptance rate that would be great to know, I have no idea how selective this program is or not. I just kinda chose it because I assumed I would get into QuestBridge cps and didn't apply to any summer programs. Then to find out I was rejected and there were like 2 programs still open for applications was like  so yeah

I didn't get in either, but was anyone else told that their application was strong so their application fee was waived? or did everyone get that and it doesn't mean anything

I got that too... they probably gave it to everybody, which is super nice though.

    Hi!
I just got rejected from Dartmouth Bound, but the notification also said, “we will waive the first-year application fee when you apply for admission to the Class of 2024.” I was just wondering—is this really due to the “strength” of my application or does everyone who gets rejected get their application fee waived? Also, has anybody who got rejected from Dartmouth Bound gotten into the school itself? I’m not too disappointed, but I’m unsure of whether I want to actually apply.
    Thanks!

Hey! I got rejected as well but I figured I would because I’m not from a culturally underrepresented background. I also got the same notification that they would wave me fee. I’m not sure if it’s for everyone or not, but I did feel that my application was strong so who knows.

I got the same thing... I saw on some thread that somebody said they had seen plenty of people get rejected from bound and get into Dartmouth but they didn't say anything more than that so I'm not relying on that too much... but that fee waiver is too good to pass up so I'm gonna apply anyways LOL

One thing I forgot to mention in my app is that I'm queer because I didn't want it to give me an unfair advantage in my application, but now looking back they said they were looking for people from underrepresented backgrounds so I probably should've based my essay around it or something

Ah, got you. I feel the same, but that’s why I’m wondering if it’s genuine or if it’s just like “aw, here you go”

Hm, yeah, I get that, but in which essay would you have written about it though? I felt like their prompts were so specific.
