Can my senior year help?

In my school, we have mid-senior year reports, which will be done after January 1st, to be precise, January 10th.

Our school therefore sends an update.
I have an upward trend, so can my senior year help?

Do the adcoms look at it, even if it is sent 2 weeks after the deadline as an update?

    Absolutely yes.

And you should ask your guidance counselor to call at the same time, to make sure it is brought to their attention.
