As the ED decisions get closer, I'm really beginning to doubt my chances at Cal Poly. I've already been chanced but I'm wondering if anyone knows if MCA score outweighs a BAD SAT score. I got a 1530 on the SAT with the breakdown being 530 english, 440 math, 560 writing. The 440 math looks way too low for Cal Poly standards. However I'm applying as a packaging major that has a fairly high acceptance rate and my MCA score is 4100 (3.8 GPA, rigor points, extracurricular, summer job, parent didn't graduate HS) . So could anyone shed light about whether Cal Poly cares more about test score averages or MCA score? Thank you very much.
