Hey I know there are a few Colby students that browse this board every so often. I was wondering if any of you would mind breaking down the housing situation, primarily freshman year. What dorms are best for what? Thanks a lot.

The only choice you really get is whether or not to go chem free. Beyond that you'll probably be in a one room double, if you get lucky you could get a one room triple or even a two room double or triple. Freshmen tend to get better rooms than sophmores. Hillside or Frat row is a probably the best place to be as a freshman because only 30-40 people live in each dorm and most of them will be underclassmen. Generally the smaller the dorm the more social it is.
