University Graduate Career Surveys

Some universities survey their graduates to see what they ended up doing shortly after graduation -- employed (and how much they are being paid if employed), still looking for a job, going to graduate school, or "other" (some only show pay of employed graduates). The most useful surveys break down the results by major.

Methodology does differ somewhat, so be careful about making comparisons across universities.

Cal Poly SLO: Graduate Status Survey index - Career Services - Cal Poly
CMU: Post-Graduation Survey Results-Career and Professional Development Center - Carnegie Mellon University
Georgia Tech: Georgia Institute of Technology :: Salary Reports
MIT: Graduating Student Survey - MIT Careers Office
Purdue: https://www.cco.purdue.edu/Student/PostGradData.shtml
RPI: Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD) for Students :: Recruiting Stats (does not include by major breakdown of destinations, but does include pay of employed graduates by major)
RIT: Students - Salary Data | Office of Co-op and Career Services (pay of employed graduates only)
San Jose State: http://careercenter.sjsu.edu/Downloads/Salary_Info/SJSU_CareerCenter_Salary_Survey.pdf (pay of employed graduates only)
