I'm looking over the articulation agreement between UCSC and my CC (De Anza) for computer science and I'm not really sure if I should have these "foundation courses" finished by the fall quarter prior to transfer (when I submit my application/apply for TAG) or if it's fine to have these done by the end of that school year.
The problem is that my sequence has me finishing many of these courses (Math 1D, Linear Algebra, Physics 4B) after that fall quarter. Also, if I do not take discrete math alongside Math 43 or Math 1A, I'll have to finish discrete math after that fall quarter, or after applying.
So are the classes only finished at the time of your application taken into account or do they look at what you will finish by the time you're done at CC?
Also, I've heard of people getting 3.4 GPA's and only missing the Physics courses (which aren't foundation courses) and still getting denied. Any insight?
