Well I'm a little late to the post even if it's still active. I was in one three months ago, it had lasted around eight months, and sometimes it's hard to think about her. I don't know why, but there are times when I think about her, I'm completely fine, but other times, I feel like crying. Don't plan to be in another relationship anytime soon, because for about a month or two after the breakup, I got so depressed/upset/whichever that I couldn't eat.

I liked this one girl freshman year. Her looks were stunning, sharp as a whip (she was with me in our pre-IB program), and played varsity volleyball freshman year. I manned up and asked her to homecoming, and she accepted. It turned out, however, that another kid, a rich, WASPy, Johnny Manziel wannabee also wanted her, and wanted her bad. I narrowly avoided a scuffle at the dance, and started getting a flood of bullying, name-calling, public humiliation, even death threats, after that, which really f'ed up my freshman year grades. The school administration was too lazy to respond. Needless to say, I got out of there and haven't been in a relationship or even wanted to since.

(Postscript: It turns out the girl was LDS. That jock is, purportedly, getting the "You don't exist" treatment from her. Girl's got her head on straight.)

I've been in a relationship with an amazing guy for close to 9 months now. We started dating near the end of freshmen year & it's been the best 9 months of my life

Lol nope. I don't really have any "crushes" because not many girls at my school prefer science or math and are mature enough, both of which are requirements for me oddly enough.

What are boys? What's a relationship?

All jokes aside, I've never been in a serious relationship. My parents will let me date once I get into college though, so basically second semester senior year onward.

The only time guys ever approach me is when they did not do their math homework or if they are having trouble with solution stoichiometry and gas laws. #singlebecauseiamthebestsongonthealbum

The girls at my school are actually kind of...unintelligent and/or slutty. Fairly certain most of them have slept with half the football team. I have yet to meet an intelligent girl at my school whom I like. I know a girl in another state whom I talk to through social media, and I actually kind of like her.

Nope. I've never had one, and I'm coming up on the midway point of junior year. I was always rejected in middle school. When I got to high school, I began to completely distance myself from the girls in my grade. I now prefer any girl between the ages of 15-19. I've come to the conclusion that while I certainly don't need a girlfriend, it would be pretty nice to have my first one at this point. However, I'm moving 30 minutes away within the next month or two, so I might as well just wait until college for a serious relationship anyways.

I'm a college male freshman engineer and I went through high school socializing and talking to hundreds of guys, but probably less than 20 girls around my age in those 4 years. I'm too cool and busy to have a relationship and didn't wanna hurt anyone's feelings. Plus, even being in college now, I have yet to find that perfect someone.

I'm in a relationship right now and I'm really enjoying it. With all the first quarter stress that comes with schoolwork, work, scholarship essays and college applications Laurie came really in handy, haha. Nah, I love my girlfriend and I'm willing to commit since we're both going to be in Providence next year (Me at Brown and her at Providence College)
