Early decision and Retaking SAT

Hi! I was wondering if I retook the SAT in November and I applied for early decision (SLO is my dream school) would they even see it? Would they only see it if I'm rolled over onto regular decision? Is it worth it? I'm applying for the next fall year. My GPA is competitive but I took the SAT without preparing and it isn't bad but could be a lot higher (Its a 1280). Thank you!

Even if they don't see it for ED a boost in your score will help your application if it rolls into RD. A 1280 might get you into some majors, but not likely into the most competitive ones. Good luck.

On the website it says: Fall Quarter: "If an applicant has updated test scores after submitting the application, Early Decision applicant test scores must be received no later than November 15. Regular decision applicant test scores must be received no later than January 15."

So I guess they won't see it for ED then...
