UF And Working On Wall Street

So, from what I have gathered, a lot of Wall Street investments banks and management consulting firms attempt to hire people straight out of college, and don't tend to care very much about what they majored in. What does matter to them, so I have heard, is good grades, extracurricular, etc. But also the prestige of the university they went to. My question is then, would the University of Florida a prestigious enough school for a job on Wall Street?

Most of the people my D1 works with graduated from the Ivies, MIT, Standford, etc. Have not heard of a lot of U of Florida graduates. But if they recruit on your campus, go for it.

Be aware that the IB's recruit on some campuses for back office jobs. That is the case at my school. They are very good jobs. Just not the investment banking,S &T jobs associated with " investment banking."
