Community College GPA considered for Grad School?
Hello - I am currently at a community college and will be transferring Fall 2018. My major is English, and have a 3.9 GPA up to this point (halfway thru SOPH year). I feel this puts me in a good position, as long as my LSAT score is what I hope it ends up being, to get into an excellent law school. However, I recently read that when a transfer student applies to law school, their grades from community college are not considered; only the ones from the 4-year institution (Junior and Senior year grades) are included in the undergrad GPA. -- Don't fact check me on this, I do not recall where I read it. May not have been a reliable source.
I was wondering if this has any validity. Anyone with experience or knowledge on this topic is welcome to give their thoughts. Thanks for reading.
