Not applying this year as I am a rising junior in high school, but Brown is my first choice, and I hope to apply to the Class of 2024 senior year!

Best of luck to you, @apmaster10!

    Have a good day!

We just got back from a road trip where we toured Brown. My kid is super-excited to apply to Brown. But they do ED, not SCEA, and we are very hesitant to let him apply anywhere ED so he will be applying in the regular round.

I'm applying to Brown RD! The more research I do, the more I grow to like Brown. It's definitely the most selective school that I'm applying to so I really want to finesse those supplements lol

Hi y'all I'm a current freshman at Brown rn! I was admitted to PLME with an intended concentration in Public Health. I'm excited to hear that y'all are planning on applying to Brown, and if you are debating it you should! I would love to answer any questions you guys have about Brown/Admissions. Just a general tip, don't write what you think Brown wants to hear, write was is true. My essays to Brown were in no way "traditional" and that's what Brown looks for!

Hi my son plans to apply to PLME early decision. Would he have a chance with below 1500 sat and 4.0 weighted GPA but a lot of research experience, national awards and great essays?

@maxine70 Make sure that your son's first choice is Brown either way because as of a couple of years ago, using ED for PLME means you are also ED'ing to Brown. That is, a result could be that he will not get accepted into the PLME program, but still be accepted ED to Brown, which requires him to attend Brown for undergrad. Good luck...it's a great program and a great undergrad!

@maxine70 : Watch this COLLEGE VLOG https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyWJ68LnsmeT-wg8QT1lCgQ (How I Got Into The Ivy League)

Personally I think her art/music portfolio is the deciding reason for what got her in. Of course, she is a very strong candidate overall . She is a premed who is studying in Brown, not like some other premeds who are stuDYING in some other places. She is quite honest. She said she did one summer research at Stanford without taking biology course before. I think admissions officers know her parents are very resourceful.
