If you think belonging to a frat is what “makes you a man”, you have a messed up view of what being a man is. You absolutely need therapy, not a fraternity at this point.

I know it's been a while, but thanks for all the replies.

After giving it a lot of thought, I'm about 80% sure I'm not going to proceed with the original plan. The main reason being that I don't want to delay starting my film career by another 4 years. It's going to hurt to be sure, but it seems that there's a niche in the world of cinema today that I need to jump on ASAP if I want to be the one to fill.

@SeekingHope that sounds a lot wiser than the original plan. Best of luck to you.

OP certainly can do as he pleases in this endeavor. How college admissions offices will view this is up to each such school. A second bachelor’s does not get the funding that a first one dies, so that is likely to be an issue. Being rushed by a frat— again up to the individual house

My son went back to finish his BA after a 13 year hiatus. Though he went through the Adult Education part of the school, he was in a some classes with the regular undergrads much younger than he was. He had a year of eligibility left in his sport, so joined the NCAA team, making an impact. But he didn’t spend any time socializing on campus. He had a cadre of friends including a GF that were outside of campus, and he was not interested in spending free time at the school. It was all business for him.

@cptofthehouse he posted that he's not going back to undergrad school, which was "the original plan."
