How to Rescind Enrollment?

My DS submitted his enrollment deposit to School A about 2 weeks ago. He's having serious second thoughts, and may prefer to attend School B instead. Is it possible to change his selection at this point? And what is the best way to go about making the change? I understand that we will forfeit the deposit to School A, and that is not an issue. Thanks for your help.

Just send a deposit to school B (make sure it's not too late - call the office!), then call/e-mail school A and tell them you will not attend. Just make sure you have a secure spot at school B before you rescind your enrollment at school A. It is not uncommon - all people accepted from waitlists do it too.

You may not get your deposit back from A, however. Some return it, others do not.
