so I am majoring in Finance, and if i wanna work with stocks. what would be the best minor or possibly double major

i was thinking of..
management information systems

what do u think would be best?

    Accounting or econ....I don't know how MIS will help.

    Financial engineering (if your school of choice has it) would also make sense if you're interested in combining heavy analytics (and a more heavily computing based approach) with your study of finance.

    But, then again, you might think about doing finance (business) with economics as an undergraduate and then doing a masters in financial engineering later on.

    In any case you should do any type of Excel training and Morningstar training or whatever specialist software is available for you.
