Internship at the Louvre, Fall 2009

Does the Louvre Museum in Paris have internships for college students? My daughter, an art history major, will be studying abroad in Paris this fall and she is interested in pursuing an internship at the Louvre. I checked the museum website, but couldn't find anything. Any suggestions?

    Not at the Louvre, but my sister did something called a "stage" (pronounced star-gh. Rhymes with plage, the French word for beach) in France. So I think that's what it's called, rather than an internship.

    My D has just finished a stage at the Louvre, but I have to admit she got it because of inside contacts. It is virtually impossible otherwise. Moreover, the French haven't yet grasped the concept of internships, and demand a formally drawn-up contract called a "convention de stage" between, in this case, your daughter's school and the Minist
