How certain are you that you will be accepted?

Do you recommend applying to other schools before Dec. 1st?

Elon's ED admit rate the past few years has been over 80% - one of the highest I am aware of. So - an ED applicant has a great chance of being admitted - particularly if your grades and test scores are in the mid-50% range - but 20% of ED applicants do get deferred or denied - so there is certainly no guarantee.

I would generally recommend to any student who is applying ED to also submit at least 1 or 2 rolling or early action applications - just in case. But if you are saying that you have not done so yet - you may just want to wait at this point. If you do get a deferral or denial on 12/1 - you still have time to submit rolling applications or RD apps with January or February deadlines.

However, if there is a school you like with a 12/1 application deadline - why not get it ready to go - just in case.
