Elon chances, class of 2020

highschool0521highschool0521 0 replies1 threads New Member
Hi, I was reading many different posts on many different forums and it got me nervous about my chances of being accepted. I applied EA and am involved in a lot of sports in my highschool, clubs, National Honors Society, National Art Honors Society, and I have a lot of volunteer work. My ACT is 31, 33 super-scored. And my GPA is around a 3.75 but I have a lot of AP classes and other rigorous classes.

Please reply :)

You mean class of 2022 :)

Your ACT is above the 75th percentile listed in Elon's class of 2020 profile (middle 50 range is 25-29). There is a 60% admissions rate. The Class of 2021 has an average ACT of 27. I would be thinking close to safety territory - curious about what I might be missing? Maybe a tendency toward Tufts Syndrome?

I'm sure you read some of my comments on other posts. I wrote a lengthy response regarding ED, EA and RD. Your states seem above average so I think you will be ok. If Elon is your first choice, tell them so!!!!!! If you don't get in I would imagine it would only because you didn't demonstrate enough interest. Best of luck!
