Theatrical Design and Production / Drama and Theatre Studies

I'm looking for anyone with experience in these majors at Elon to help me understand the differences between the two. I'm assuming Drama and Theatre Studies is the usual well-rounded BA theatre major found at many colleges. However, Theatrical Design and Production requires an interview and portfolio review, and is also a BA program. I'm looking for information to find out if this major is more intense, if students get a leg-up in production experience, etc. Are career outcomes different in these majors?
