Early Action Question

Hey,

I'm applying early action for BFA MT at Emerson and when I was looking at dates, I saw that their last early action audition date is like December 7th or something. This date would be convenient because I could schedule my audition for Berklee on the 5th. However, Emerson notifies early action applicants Dec. 15th (I think?) so my question is, is auditioning only a week before they are supposed to send out an acceptance letter a bad idea? I know it seems stupid but sometimes picking when you audition can make a big difference. Thanks!

Just curious if anyone wants to share thoughts about how the EA auditions went. It was my D's first college audition. She thought it went fine--though as the first one has nothing to compare it to. I thought the parent session was helpful. Its so nice to know that we'll hear something next week.

My daughter had a pretty good experience as well. The evaluators were approachable and they seemed to go out of their way to keep everyone as relaxed as possible. I thought the parent info session also was very helpful and informative. Sounds like early action is kind of meaningless since they accept so few early.
