How competitive are admissions for Emory's Pre-College Program

I'm applying for the two-week program. Applications are rolling until all the spots are filled up. I haven't taken the SAT yet, but my PSAT score was a 168 (I know...). I'm taking the SAT on February 27th, but I'm scared all the spots in the program will be filled by the time I get my results back.

Should I apply now with a 168, or wait until I get my scores back in early March to apply?

Do you know how to make sure they received your application and are considering it?

I guess I'm a little late on this thread, but I applied for the program this summer too. I was in a similar situation with the whole score thing. I hadn't taken the ACT yet this year and I didn't want to submit my score from last year because I thought it would be higher this year. I called their office and the woman told me that I should go ahead and enter last years score because every time you take the SAT, ACT, or PSAT your score gets updated. Once I took the ACT again my scores got sent and updated. So from what I was told, go ahead and apply. If it helps, I don't think admissions can be TOO competitive because although I have a great GPA and course load, my PSAT scores weren't stellar and my ACT score hardly improved from last year.
About them recieving the application, I got an email confirmation about it. If you didn't, I would call their office. They are very friendly and helpful.
I really want to go and have been accepted, but I'm sort of nervous about it. I will be a rising junior and I'm betting it will be mostly rising seniors. I guess I need to figure out what I'm doing and pay the deposit this week to secure my spot for the Abnormal Psychology course.
Random, but what session and course are you interested in?

I don't think that the Emory Pre-College admissions process is very competitive. Not very many people actually apply so I'd say you're fine with a 168 PSAT, as long as you also send in your March score. I'm a senior waiting to hear back from Emory RD, but I did the Pre-College program last summer and it was the best two weeks of my life. Have fun! :)
