Hi,

I have a 1240 on the sat. I want to apply Early Decision to Emory! Do you guys think I should apply ED1 with the 1240 or wait and take the sat again and apply ED2? I heard that you have a better chance getting accepted in ED 1. I dont know if that is true.

Please advise!

Have you compared your scores to the score ranges Emory has published?

Middle 50 percentiles of admitted students for class of 2022:
    SAT EBRW: 690-750
    SAT Math: 700-790

Middle 50 percentiles of enrolled students for class of 2021:
    SAT EBRW 670-740
    SAT Math: 680-780

With your current scores, you risk being rejected outright at ED1, with no deferral to RD. Take the SAT again and apply ED2.
