Not quite sure how an U/W GPA can be a 4.4 (thought 4.0 was the highest) but you should definitely apply to the Emory Scholars Program if you are serious about the school. Applications are due earlier, but many scholarships are available and the ESP has many other benefits as well.

Tell your high school counselor that you want to be recommended as an Emory Scholar (they have to recommend you) - all paperwork MUST be in by Nov. 1 (counselor forms, your application, and Emory Scholar application). See Emory's website for details.

Emory is a safety for you.

If you apply for Emory Scholars, you'd have a really good shot at getting a full ride scholarship.
