HELP URGENT! Accidentally submitted my FAFSA too early???

imsohungryimsohungry - Posts: 74 Junior Member
okay so about a week ago, I filled out the 2010-2011 FAFSA and everything and got an EFC of 0.

The problem is I just realized we weren't supposed to submit FAFSA applications until after January 1st of next year.

Right now I'm a senior in high school.

What do I do? Do I delete the current application turned in or what? What's gonna happen?

My FAFSA application is being processed as we speak.

Please help :(

Don't worry about...the schools aren't going to process anything since you're not actually enrolled for the current year. Just fill out the new FAFSA after January 1st.

As sk8rmom said, don't worry. It will just be disregarded as it is the wrong years FAFSA. Just do the 2011-2012 one as early after january 1st as possible. It will be easy now you have had practice and know what you are doing.
