Since I live in a small town, there's really nothing here.

Sometimes you have to leave to find work. Summer camp counselor, resort worker, internship through the school, online work. Sometimes you just have to look harder. Cleaning houses, night shift work, factory work.

Mowing lawns, pet or baby sitting, yard work.

Online courses are no longer just for people who work.
I would look to see if they have any remote online courses at UA and if so, apply for aid through UA.
Do you live off campus, if so why not just stay for the summer in an apartment you already paid ?
If you plan to live on campus, then yes summer school onsite is expensive.
And if you take 2 courses at the same time, it's like a full load, not much time for work anyway.
