    Ok...here is the bottom line.

    1. You need to shorten your application list if you don’t have the money to apply to 20 schools.

    2. Most of the most generous colleges will also require you submit the CSS Profile...and there is a cost to submit that too. The college board does not give fee waivers for the Profile to international students,

    3. Do you plan to go to med or dental school? If so, you will be laying out of Pocket for those....about $300,000 to $400,000 a year.

    Many U.S. dental and med schools don’t accept international students.

    Personally...I think you need a different plan than the one you have sort of presented here.

    Even with fee waivers...there is no guarantee you will be accepted and be able to afford and attend college here.

    Med school...as an international student, plan to be full pay IF you can find a school in this country to accept you.
