How/where to indicate a school is 1st choice for NMF

garveygarvey Registered User Posts: 123 Junior Member
Hello -

My daughter is applying ED II to a LAC that awards money to National Merit finalists who indicate the school is their “first choice.” I’m unclear as to where it is that such an indication would be made, one way or the other. Isn’t the decision to apply EDII itself an indicator that the school is the applicant’s first choice? Thanks for any help anyone might be able to give, and good luck to all!

You can let the school know via EMail but it is what they receive from the NMCorp after March that counts.

I would wait - select “undecided” until you have to choose.

If you are asking where to indicate the school as a first choice, it is on the NMcorp website where your daughter applied for finalist standing. She would have to log in. I think that was where it was a few years ago when my daughter did it.
