Will This Get rejected right away?

Hey guys! So the college acceptances I’ve but gotten so far always accept me at 4-5k more than the amount I mentioned on ISFAA. I’ve already submitted COF for a college but I’m thinking of reducing it by 2-3k . The update is directly made on my portal. Should I do this? Will it cause my app to be immediately rejected or have a very negative impact on it ? Thank you

The amount you put you can pay has no bearing on the calculation the college used to determine need based aid.

Agree what is your reasoning for making A change ?

Colleges aren't going to reduce the amount you have to pay because you lower the amount you say you can pay. If you show less on the COF than is required to pay, then I don't think you'll be approved. The point is to show you have the necessary funds.
