How much money could a health science major expect to make during a 6 month coop at Northeastern? (not in terms of hourly wage, but more like cumulatively for the entire 6 months)

An easy trick for calculation co-op net earnings:

Take the hourly wage and multiply by 1000. It happens to work out nearly exactly for 40 hours over 6 months.

Once you have that, multiply by 0.75 for taxes, and then subtract housing/food/living costs, and you have your answer.

Generally it is my impression that health science co-op's tend to be $15-$25 dollars per hour. Closer to $15 for research labs, more for medical jobs. That's fully anecdotal though.
