Questbridge recommendation vs. commonapp?

Submitting duplicate recommendations?

I'm applying to MIT, Princeton, Yale, Stanford, Rice and Caltech through the Questbridge program, which is kind of a bind ED commonapp for top schools.

Through the questbridge application, I already submitted 2 recommendations, but if the ED questbridge college match fails to match me with a certain university, I'll probably have to send commonapp recommendations to those schools for Regular decision. Now, my teachers already sent their questbridge recommendations, and are on their way to send duplicate recommendations through the common app for regular decision. That means that if I get questbridge finalist, those "extra" common app recommendations are not useful because the colleges would use the questbridge recommendations anyway.

Will sending those extra duplicate recommendations hurt me?

I really need your advice, because I'm freaking out so bad about this whole college app process.

Thank you.
