FIU or FAU for Marine Biology?

CrinoidCrinoid Registered User Posts: 1 New Member
I'm going to transfer to one of these two schools and would like to know which one has the stronger Marine Biology program. I'm interested in studying invertebrates,it is a passion of mine, but I love it all honestly.

I'm a little confused how FAU's marine biology program works. It seems like you can focus in Marine Biology, but can't major in it. At FIU you can major in it, but I'm not sure if that means anything after you are completed undergraduate research.

Could someone explain FAU's marine biology program to me in more detail? What do you think about FIU's program. Personally, I really like FIU's location, but both are beautiful.

Also, cost is still a concern for me. Do both these university's offer PhD fellowships after undergraduate because that could be a deciding factor for me.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
