What is Special about F&M?

It would be very helpful if someone gave me an idea about the social scene and the specialties at F&M. I am an international student, so I don't have a lot of chance to visit colleges. Thanks in Advance!!

With regard to specialties, F&M has a very robust liberal arts curriculum. All of their programs/departments are well developed, with the exception of Studio Art and Computer Science. The classes are small, which gives ample opportunity for discussion. The professors are also very accessible and well qualified. The dining options are better than most schools; however, it can get old. The town is very quaint and it doesn't have very much to offer with the exception of a few art galleries and multiple restaurants. If you are a very social person who enjoys parties and doing things on the weekend, there won't be a social scene for you unless you join a frat or a sorority. Greek life dominates the culture of F&M, and it is very exclusionary. Most students who are involved are conventional, wealthy and caucasian. There have actually been numerous incidents regarding racism and classism this year. Whether this is a direct result of the Greek community is debatable, but it's somewhat of a given that it is. If you just like sitting around and watching Netflix on the weekends, you'll be fine.
