    Yes, and there is a program called OTAT (One Transfer At a Time). It's a great program that allows you to meet people. You go out, go on trips to Target/wherever, and have dinner together. There are also people who will be able to answer any questions /concerns you may have about adjusting to GW, getting around DC, etc.
