Somewhere around a 3.0/3.1 GPA

2020 SAT
650 W 670 M 700 CR

I took Math 2, but didnt study at all for it, so i'm stuck with a pathetic 640.

All GT/AP classes since 9th grade. Currently taking 6 APs out of 6 classes.

Relatively good AP test scores from last previous years (mostly 4's and 5's).

Published a novel in 2003 (really, still available in places such as amazon or barnes and noble)
Played piano for 12 years
Played tennis for 5 years
Taught tennis for 2, including summer camp and private lessons.

And I was a russian immigrant in the early 90s.

I am undecided. My essays were pretty good, i think. They will most certainly stand out; and i think i made the undecided thing work pretty well for me. If anyone wants to see, i'll send the main essay I used.

Anyway, yeah, my numbers suck. But hey, numbers are just that: numbers. :)

There was an article in the Hatchet today, stating that the # of ED apps was slightly lower than last year, but there were 1000 more RD apps. I am thinking that means that ED might have been a little easier this year, and RD harder. Truthfully, your GPA is a little low for RD. Maybe your interesting resume will counteract that, though.

I'm curious about your book as well. Would you mind linking us to it on amazon?

If it sounds good, I might even purchase it!

I have heard the same thing regarding ED VS. RD. I heard RD is up over 2,000 and that both ED rounds were down about 15%. Good luck to you all!

Here are the facts from the GWHatchet: GW's number of early decision I applicants in 2007 dropped by 6 percent. The University received 1,009 applications for its binding November deadline in 2006 and 946 applications in 2007. The number of students who applied using the early decision II option, one with a later deadline that is also binding, decreased by 15 percent.
The University saw an increase in applicants for its regular decision deadline.
