Important Question

If I apply by the Jan. 10 deadline, will I still be considered for the honors college and merit aid?
Also, to what degree does GWU award merit aid?

I believe the Honors program deadline was in December, but check the viewbook. GW announced in the fall that because of the economic crisis it was shifting its focus away from merit aid and more towards meeting financial need, especially for current students.

    I think it's the normal deadline, spwll08:

"As a freshman applicant you may apply to an honors, accelerated, or special program. Submit this application and all required credentials by December 10 for the Seven Year B.A./M.D. Program and by January 10 for all other programs. Refer to our web site for specific program requirements."

It's on their website..after you've registered, you can click on the GW application for Honors, etc programs and it says that.
