I wrote about how I was a catalyst for multi-cultural activity =] A short little short answer. I got in EA into SFS. No awards...I'm kinda sick of that stuff. So I wanted to do something different! haha It was "unique" I'd say. Alot of my friends put down something funny too. I'd just say go with something you think is special about you and most likely to stand out! It'll catch their eye!

Yeah, I'm planning on writing my awards/honors. Is everyone just listing them or are you guys writing it in complete sentences?

I just wrote hobbies, etc. that didn't fit in elsewhere on the application, like teaching myself Arabic, snowboarding, piano, guitar, harmonica, so on and so forth.

yea, i got in ea. i wrote about hobbies, just little things, i tried to make it more personal and laid-back than the other sections. no awards, etc. i figure that's what the other sections are for.

i didn't really think my things qualified as 'special', but i i think they just wanted to give you a little freebie space, since their essays weren't as open-ended as, say, the common app , where you have the option of topic of your choice.

I'm not sure where else you're saying awards/honors fit on the app... ?

I just listed my awards though... It's such a small space that I don't think it really matters, and there was no where else on the freakin app to put my honors.
I used the essays to be creative and tell about my character.

yeah i was wondering too if there was any place to put honors/awards won? because i just listed hobbies and didn't take it too seriously but now i'm not sure where i can include awards...

did any of you use more than the space provided? i might want to do that since my response turned out to be longer since I got carried away.

This is a simple question to answer. Each person has skills and talents, such as writing, singing, dancing etc. Now, the school just wants to know you a little better by asking questions like this one. So what are you good at? That is the question. Don't be nervous and definitely do not panic. Good luck!

and how i can do the wave with my stomach
and am fluent in spanish and stuff... i just put cool things in general that weren't on my college apps (even if they are kind of weird...)
