Does anyone know how to check application status? How could I know whether they have received my application materials sent by mail?

you don't. i think they'll notify you if you're missing anything.

They'll let you know if you get in... But, Georgetown does mostly all communication by mail. You cannot check your status online (like you can for other colleges)... so you'll be in the dark until the mailman delivers the letter to your door.

Georgetown's entire online college app process is still in the Dark Ages! Alas, no online verification or acceptance notification - either for app completeness or financial aid for that matter.

    USPS and telephone only way!
